The functionality and properties of these bags formed the inspiration for creating the Koala. The word 'marsupial' comes from the Latin word marsupium, meaning 'pouch’. A friendly character, easily recognised, strong, robust and well liked the Koala is a perfect fit. Creating an opportunity to define an eco-friendly product and a strong brand with positive environmental credentials.

All Koala bags are designed to have a long and useful life. They are made from non-woven polypropylene (PP), which is a thermoplastic polymer that can be fully recycled as a plastic using standard facilities. Although made from a synthetic material it can use considerably less resources to produce than a natural alternative. To add to these green credentials we use sea-containers to ship the Koala Bags to the UK and encourage all our customers to support this method!
