The Sourcing Team’s exclusive range of Koala Bags made their first outing at Legoland, Windsor in support of around 400 special needs children and carers from around London. The event, which took place in May, saw the children taken on a special Fun Day out to Legoland; organised by The Lady Taverners, with celebrity appearances from Debra Stephenson (former Coronation Street actress) and Chesney Hawks (the ‘one and only’ 90s pop star).

Koala Bags – the latest innovation from The Sourcing Team – is a new range of bags based on the loveable marsupial. In the same way that the Koala carries it's young, The Sourcing Team's aim was to create a bag that is pouch like in size but has the capacity to expand when in use. Being made from non-woven polypropylene, each bag can be fully recycled. Although a synthetic material, it can use considerably less resources to produce that a natural alternative.

The ‘mini shopper' (just 1 of 4 sized bags in the Koala Range) proved a massive hit with the children, allowing them to carry their lunch and various goodies collected throughout the day.
